WELCOME

The Pongpong church of Christ, a church that meets for its worship services at Pongpong, Sto. Tomas, La Union, Philippines,  is a congregation of Christians dedicated to following the simple gospel of Jesus Christ. We profess no denominational affiliation, instead urging all believers to go back to the Bible as the ultimate authority and guide for spiritual life. We know that those who “walked in the light” in the beginning of the church walked with Christ; therefore, if we believe what they believed, practice as they practiced, and teach as they taught, we will be what they were: simply Christians.

Jesus came into the world to seek and save the lost; He gave Himself at Golgotha to redeem “whosoever will” from the consequences of sin; He came so that we can enjoy truly abundant life, in Him; and He promised to build a church. At Pongpong, we are striving to be that church, and we invite you to investigate what the Word says about it.

The members of the Pongpong Church of Christ,  welcome you to this new blog site so that WE, members of the one universal church, can have a venue to know each other.  This Blog site intends to give information about the church of the Lord Jesus in this part of the world, give updates of its programs, services and activities.

A page devoted to the posting of Bible Lessons in Word format and Power Point presentations. Videos and Photos will be regularly posted to update the brotherhood throughout the world what is happening in this remote barangay. Contributors of Articles, files, and other sources of materials for teaching will also be created.

Comments and constructive criticisms are welcome.  Views that promote division in the church shall not be tolerated.  This site promotes unity within the brotherhood.  However, we will follow the advise of the Great Apostle Paul to rebuke those who do not follow the right path of righteousness.
